The growth habit of Job's tears

Job's tears is a herbaceous plant with a stem about 1-1.5 meters high and broad and smooth leaves. Job's tears likes to grow in an environment with sufficient sunlight and can be planted in a sunny place.

This way it can absorb most of the light. When sufficient light is absorbed, the leaves of Job's tears will become green and full, but it cannot be placed in direct sunlight, otherwise the light will be too strong and the branches and leaves will be sunburned.

Where does Job's tears like to grow?

Job's tears are produced in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, such as India, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines. They are grown in most parts of my country, and are especially common in the southeast. They like to grow in mild and moist soil and valley streams, and are generally more common below 2000m above sea level.

The growing environment and conditions of Job's tears

1. Soil

Job's tears do not have strict requirements on the soil, and you can even prepare it yourself. By mixing some sawdust, leaf soil and garden soil together, you can get loose, water-advancing and breathable soil, which is very suitable for the growth and development of Job's tears.

2. Moisture

Job's tears has a great demand for water during its growth process. When the temperature is too high in summer, the watering frequency can be increased to twice a day. It will grow better when it absorbs sufficient water.

3. Temperature

Job's tears are not resistant to high temperatures or cold, so temperature protection must be done during the cultivation period. The most suitable temperature is around 17-27℃, and the temperature in summer should not exceed 33℃.
