How to propagate Jade Kylin? Can it survive by transplanting?

1. Can the Jade Kylin be planted alive?

The Jade Kylin can be brought to life. It can be propagated by cuttings. However, when taking cuttings, you should choose healthy and strong stem segments as cuttings. After cuttings, provide the new plants with a warm growing environment. Such stem segments and environment are more conducive to rooting. If the stem segment is not growing well or the environmental conditions are too bad, it will be difficult to plant it alive.

2. How to breed Jade Kylin

1. Cutting method: Jade Qilin is generally propagated by cuttings. When it is warmer in May and June, cut some well-growing stem segments from the mother plant, place them in a ventilated place, and let the wounds dry. Then prepare some loose and fertile soil with manure and river sand, and insert the dried stem segments into it, with the depth controlled at about 3-4cm. Afterwards, control the ambient temperature between 20-25℃, spray at appropriate times to keep the soil slightly moist, and it will take root after 40-50 days.

2. Sowing method: Select some healthy and plump jade qilin seeds, wash them in water, and then soak them in gibberellin solution for 4-5 hours to germinate. Afterwards, prepare some loose, breathable and fertile soil, gently sow the germinated seeds on the soil surface, and cover them with a thin layer of soil. After that, place it in a warm place, water it in time, and it will germinate in about 30 days.
