How often should I water the Brazilian tree?

The rubber tree is a shrub-like plant of the genus Dracaena in the Asparagaceae family. When watering, follow the principle of "better to be wet than dry". Make sure the soil is always moist before and after watering. Do not wait until it is dry to water, as this will cause the plant to dehydrate and wither.

1. Watering in spring

Spring is the time when the rubber tree grows vigorously, and its demand for water is very high. Normally, just keep the soil moist, and water it about once every 3-4 days.

2. Watering in summer

Summer is a season with relatively high temperatures, and water evaporates relatively quickly, so watering is necessary, generally once a day. In midsummer, you can water the plants two or three times a day.

3. Watering in autumn

Autumn is the peak growth season for the rubber tree. Just like in spring, you only need to water it about every two or three days.

4. Watering in winter

In winter, the rubber tree enters a dormant period and needs to be protected from frost. It only needs to be watered once every 10 days or so.

What kind of water is good for Brazilian wood

1. Mineral water: Mineral water is rich in minerals, which is beneficial to its growth. Note that you cannot use tap water directly for irrigation. The tap water needs to be left for two days to remove the chlorine.

2. Vitamin C aqueous solvent: Vitamin C aqueous solvent is acidic, which can lower the pH value of the soil and make the leaves of the rubber tree brighter.
