Chrysanthemum pot cultivation method

1. Soil: When caring for chrysanthemum potted plants, we generally use slightly acidic soil that is rich in humus, loose and fertile. Usually, we will mix leaf mold, sandy soil and cake fertilizer residue to ensure sufficient nutrients for growth and development.

2. Light: When caring for potted chrysanthemums, they need to be given sufficient sunlight. Except for appropriate shade in the summer, they must be able to receive direct sunlight in other seasons. If they are placed on the window for maintenance, they need to be turned frequently to ensure even light exposure.

3. Watering: When caring for chrysanthemum potted plants, watering is also very important. In the hot summer, watering is necessary every day. Spring and autumn are more suitable for growth, so watering is necessary every 3-4 days, and in winter, watering is necessary once a week.

4. Fertilization: From the time chrysanthemums are potted to autumn, organic fertilizer needs to be applied once a week with a concentration of about 15%. In autumn, organic fertilizer can be applied every 5 days. Stop applying nitrogen fertilizer during the bud formation period.

Chrysanthemum maintenance precautions

When caring for chrysanthemum potted plants, you need to pay attention to the appropriate height. After planting, when about 5 leaves grow, you need to pinch the top to control the height. When 5 leaves grow on the side branches, you need to pinch the top again. Repeat this process until autumn.
