How to plant Sanyeqing cultivation methods and planting techniques

Three-leaf green growth environment requirements

Tripterygium wilfordii likes coolness by nature and grows in a relatively warm environment. It grows faster at around 25℃, but in winter, due to the generally low temperature, its growth is slow or even stagnant. It is very cold-resistant.

Planting time of Clover

The base for planting Sanyeqing is in the northwest of Guangxi. During the period after the Spring Festival and before Qingming Festival, the weather is warm and the rainfall is relatively abundant, which is very suitable for the growth of Sanyeqing. Therefore, it is best to seize this opportunity to plant Sanyeqing.

Planting method of clover

Tripterygium wilfordii is often propagated by cuttings, but it can also be propagated by seeds. Choose strong branches, 12-15 cm in length, and insert them obliquely into the seedbed. Compact the soil, then water it once. It can be transplanted after about a month, with a plant spacing of 100 cm and a row spacing of 100 cm. Plant 2 to 3 plants in each hole and water them thoroughly once.

High-yield planting technology of Sanyeqing

Three-leaf green is not tolerant to direct sunlight and needs to build a trellis. It should be planted on sloping land, dry land, or rice fields that are free of water and soil pollution, have water sources, are drought-resistant and flood-draining, have large plots of land, slightly acidic soil, and have a good surrounding environment. It is best to plant it in mountainous or hilly mountainous areas.

Precautions for cultivation of clover

Tripterygium wilfordii has a wide adaptability to soil and can survive in ordinary soil. It is best planted in loose, fertile and well-drained soil, but it is important to note that there must be soil fertilizer.

It is best to use farmyard manure for fertilization, which has no side effects and is pollution-free. However, the farmyard manure must be fermented. Direct use of unfermented farmyard manure will damage the roots of the clover, causing the clover to wither and die.
