The main methods of planting fresh Dendrobium are tissue rapid propagation, division and cutting propagation, with division propagation being the main method.

When planting by division, generally choose 1-2 year old, strong, with many sprouts, tender green color, well-developed root system and free of diseases and insect pests as seed plants, trim off dead branches, rotten and excessively long roots, divide the plant clusters into more small clusters, each with 5-7 stems with leaves, and then plant.

If the humidity is too high, the roots will rot, so it must be watered moderately and attention must be paid to reasonable fertilization. Generally, it is sufficient to fertilize once every 7-10 days. If it is dormant, you do not need to fertilize.
