Growth characteristics of Northeast rice: This kind of rice is white and transparent in color, relatively hard in texture, and has very full grains. It is rich in nutrients such as protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and has an oblate cross-section.

Northeast rice growth rate

The growth cycle of Northeast rice is about 145 days, but some varieties can be grown for up to 180 days. Its growth cycle varies slightly depending on management conditions and varieties.

The growth process of Northeast rice: From south to north, the planting time of Northeast rice is from April 25 to May 25, the ear stage is from July 20 to August 15, and the harvest time is generally around early October. It is usually only planted once a year.

Northeast Rice Growth Cycle Management

The yield of Northeast rice will be different if the planting and management are different, but the yield per mu is about 1,000 to 1,300 jin. It likes high temperature, high humidity, and short daylight. It is not demanding on soil, and paddy soil is preferred. The minimum temperature for seedling germination is between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius, and it is suitable for growing at temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Fertilization management : In general, Northeast rice needs to be fertilized with sufficient base fertilizer before planting, and the appropriate nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium should be adjusted to be used as base fertilizer. Medium and trace element fertilizers should be applied according to the soil nutrient conditions, and the amount should not be too large. The amount of topdressing should be increased for plots with thin soil fertility, otherwise it should be appropriately reduced.
