It will sprout one month after sowing in spring, and the growing period is about 100 days. It is sown at the end of June in summer, and the seedlings will sprout in about 6 days. It can be harvested at the end of September, and the growing period is about 80 days.

Motherwort Growth Cycle Management

Motherwort is generally grown in the wild, and can yield about 500 kilograms in autumn and winter, and about 350 kilograms in summer. When the soil is moist, the germination of motherwort seeds accelerates as the temperature increases.

Temperature Management : Motherwort grows best in temperatures around 26°C, however, it is also a cold-tolerant plant so it can easily overwinter.

Fertilization management : After each tillage and weeding of Motherwort, nitrogen fertilizer should be applied. Urea, ammonium sulfate, cake fertilizer or human and animal manure and urine can be used. Pay attention to watering and dilute before application.
