Preparation method of green radish soil

Green radish soil requirements

Green radish is suitable for humus-rich, loose, fertile, slightly acidic soil. It is a shade-loving plant that prefers a humid and hot environment. Avoid direct sunlight during maintenance. When planting, choose fertile soil and add 30% fine sand.

Preparation method of green radish soil

1. Pine needles: It is best to use pine needles when planting green radish. Use a plastic bag to collect the fallen pine needles, ferment them for 2 months and let them rot, then mix them with garden soil. The soil prepared with pine needles is loose and breathable, with excellent drainage and air permeability. Pine needles are highly acidic, and the pH value of the soil can also be improved.

2. Coarse sand: You can also use coarse sand. Mix coarse sand and soil in a ratio of 1:5 and use it evenly. It can improve the permeability and air permeability of the soil, which is helpful for the breathing and growth of the roots of the green radish.

3. Melon shell: Just spread the melon shell directly in the flowerpot. It has excellent drainage and can also improve the aeration of the soil. Such soil is also suitable for the growth of the roots of green radish.

Green radish flower soil maintenance

1. Chlorophytum cochinchinensis is a very easy-to-care-for plant. Generally, the best time to change the soil is April and October. Other times are too cold or too hot, which is not conducive to changing the soil or pots.

2. Wood ash can be used as soil for green radish. Wood ash contains trace elements such as potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. Using wood ash to plant green radish will make the leaves darker and grow more vigorously.

3. When growing green radish, you can put eggshells in the soil. Eggshells are rich in trace elements and calcium, which can make it stronger, but be careful not to place them directly. They must be processed. After processing, they can also be placed at the bottom of the pot as base fertilizer.

What to do if there are insects in the soil of the green radish

1. Cigarette ash water: Add 50 to 100 cigarette butts to 200 to 300 ml of water, soak for one night, repeatedly crush it, filter it with gauze to remove the residue, and spray it on the soil of the green radish. Add about 0.2 grams of baking soda and edible alkali for better results.

2. Detergent water: add 300~400 parts of detergent to water, stir or vibrate slightly, and spray after evenly dissolving. Add 500 times the amount of detergent to water and 600 times the amount of wind oil to water. It is very effective against insects in the soil of green radish.
