How to raise leafhopper arrowroot

How to raise leafhopper arrowroot

1. Suitable soil

Soil is the basis for the growth of leaf hopper taro. It can be prepared by mixing leaf mold, garden soil and river sand. In order to ensure nutrition, certain fertilizers need to be added as base fertilizer.

2. Suitable for sunlight

The leafhopper taro prefers a semi-shaded environment and cannot tolerate exposure to the sun, but it still needs sunlight. It needs to be given a certain amount of light during its growth, and the daily light time must be guaranteed to be more than 4 hours. It needs shade in summer, otherwise the leaves will dry out.

3. Proper watering

It likes a humid environment and cannot tolerate drought. It needs to be watered every day during the growing season. In addition to watering the roots, you also need to pay attention to the air humidity and spray water on the leaves regularly.

4. Provide nutrients

It likes fertilizer, and it needs to be fertilized reasonably during the breeding process to ensure its growth needs. Fertilizer needs to be applied once a week during the growth period. However, when the temperature is above 35 degrees in summer and below 10 degrees in winter, the growth is slow during these two periods, the demand for nutrients is less, and fertilization needs to be stopped.

5. Temperature range

The temperature suitable for its growth is about 15-25 degrees. Note that when the temperature is too high, you need to strengthen ventilation to promote normal air circulation. In addition to promoting growth, it can also prevent the occurrence of diseases and pests.
