How long is the growing period of black peanuts?

Black peanuts are a type of colored peanuts. Their growth cycle is about 130 days, but there are differences between different varieties. About 8,000 plants can be planted per acre, and the average yield per acre can reach 400 kilograms.

The growth of black peanuts goes through several stages including germination and seedling stage, flowering and needle-setting stage, pod-setting stage, and full fruit stage. The plants are mostly planted in March or May and mature between July and October.

The growth process of black peanuts

1. Germination and seedling stage: From the sowing of black peanuts to the opening of the first flower, it lasts about 20-35 days.

2. Flowering and needle-setting period: From the flowering of black peanuts to the appearance of chicken-head-shaped young fruits, it lasts about 15-35 days and requires careful maintenance during this period.

3. Pod-setting period: From the appearance of chicken-head-shaped young fruits of black peanuts to the growth of 50% full fruits, it takes about 20-40 days, and a large number of fruit needles will be buried in the soil during this period.

4. Fruit maturity period: During this period, most of the black peanut fruits are ripe and full, and the nutritional growth will gradually decline. Remember to harvest them in time.

Black peanut growth period maintenance and management

1. During the seedling stage of black peanuts, they need to be placed in a well-ventilated and well-lit location for maintenance. Pay attention to keeping the soil moist and the temperature controlled at around 23°C.

2. During the pod-setting period, black peanuts must be guaranteed to have sufficient water to avoid dead seedlings and pests, and foliar fertilization must be carried out to promote the rapid development of pods.
