The planting time of chili pepper is generally divided by season, and the planting time is also different in different regions. For example, in the southern region with higher temperature, chili pepper can be planted all year round, but in northern regions such as Shandong and Henan, it is generally planted in mid-August.

There are many varieties of Chaotian pepper. The more common ones are Tianhong pepper, Qixing pepper, Jiaoduhong universe, Daguo Xinsanying, Shengnisi Chaotian pepper, Dajiao Sanying pepper, Shaoyang Chaotian pepper, etc. However, there is not much difference in the planting time of different varieties of Chaotian pepper.

Generally, the chili pepper can be harvested about three months after planting, and is available on the market in large quantities around June. The yield per mu is generally around 2,000-2,500 kilograms, but the specific yield depends on the variety of chili pepper.

Steps and methods of planting chili pepper

1. Select the site before planting

When choosing a site for growing chili peppers, you should choose a place close to a water source, the soil should be loose and fertile, and it should receive sufficient sunlight.

2. Seed germination

Before sowing, the seeds should be placed in the sun to dry for a few days, then soaked in pesticide for about an hour to achieve the purpose of disinfection before sowing.

3. Planting

Just sow about 6 grams of chili pepper seeds per square meter, and then cover the seeds with a layer of fine soil until the seeds are no longer visible.
