Should I use a large or small pot for myrrh?

The growth rate of chrysanthemum is very slow. Generally, it can be maintained in a small pot. If it is maintained in a large pot, the roots of the chrysanthemum will easily become suffocated when watering, and the air permeability will be relatively poor.

Growth environment: Chrysanthemum will grow better in a warm place, and sufficient light is needed during the growth period. Liquid fertilizer needs to be added every 10 days during the growth period, and watering is only needed when the soil is dry.

Repotting time: When the width of the chrysanthemum is several times larger than the pot, it needs to be repotted. The most suitable time for repotting is in spring, April or May, but it can also be repotted in winter.

Should I use a deep or shallow pot for myrrh?

It is more suitable to use a deep pot to care for the chrysanthemum, because the roots of the chrysanthemum will grow deeper. Using a shallow pot will limit the growth of the plant's roots.

During the growth period, the requirements of the potting soil for the chrysanthemum are very high. Generally, as long as the flowerpots used for planting are of appropriate size, you can choose some breathable and water-permeable ceramic pots or porcelain pots for maintenance.

How to repot chrysanthemum

1. Remove the pot and prune

Remove the daisy plant from the flowerpot, trim the roots of the daisy, wash and disinfect it with clean water, and let the wound dry.

2. Repotting

After removing the daisy from the pot, it needs to be planted in soil that is relatively rich in organic matter. Generally, the best soil for maintenance is a mixture of humus and river sand.
