Environmental conditions and requirements for the growth of Matsutake

Matsutake Growth Temperature

The temperature requirements for Matsutake are different during different growth periods. Usually, the most suitable growth temperature for Matsutake is around 25 degrees. The minimum temperature of the environment cannot be lower than 10 degrees, and the maximum temperature cannot exceed 37 degrees.

Matsutake Growth Humidity

During the growth process of Matsutake, it has relatively high requirements for humidity. Generally, a humidity detector needs to be installed to control the humidity during maintenance. Usually the humidity of the culture medium can be 50%. In addition, the water required for growth should not be too much or too little.

Matsutake Growing Soil

Matsutake mushrooms mostly grow in sandy or stony soils with a relatively thin humus layer, dry and poor soil. Generally, the soil for cultivating Matsutake mushrooms can be mountain brown soil, red soil, mountain yellow soil, or brown forest soil.

Growth cycle and process of Matsutake

The growth cycle of Matsutake is very slow and long. Matsutake usually goes on the market in August in autumn. It usually takes 5 or 6 years for Matsutake to grow fully, and the survival time of Matsutake after maturity is very short, usually only 3-5 days.
