Plant Care Tips

Plant Care Tips

1. Rotate the flower pot

Some plants like light, while others are shade-tolerant. However, even shade-tolerant plants need to be given light and should not be kept in a dark environment for a long time, otherwise their growth will be seriously hindered. Light-loving plants can accept direct sunlight, and they will grow more vigorously with sufficient light. Shade-tolerant plants only need diffuse light. In addition, the flower pots should be rotated every 10 days. This can promote even growth of the plants and improve their aesthetics.

2. Change the pot regularly

Spring is the peak growth season for plants every year. The roots sprout rapidly at this time, so the plants must be repotted once in spring to allow them to grow vigorously. Don't water before repotting so it will be easier to remove from the pot. After removing the plant from the pot, the roots need to be trimmed, and old, rotten, and weak roots need to be trimmed. Then put it back into the pot, water it thoroughly, and keep it in a warm, cool, and ventilated place to help it adapt to the pot as soon as possible.

3. Water quality selection

When caring for plants, you must provide them with sufficient water. The water for watering should preferably be rainwater or clean river water, as this water quality is more conducive to plant growth. If you use tap water for a long time, be sure to collect water in advance and air it for two or three days before use. Otherwise, the chlorine in it is too strong and it will hinder the growth of plants if it is not aired.

4. Apply thin fertilizer frequently

Plants consume more nutrients during the peak growing season, and they will only grow vigorously if their nutrient needs are met. Therefore, it is necessary to apply fertilizer frequently. Fertilization should be carried out with thin fertilizers and frequent application. It can be done simultaneously with watering, or the fertilizer can be diluted with clean water first, and then the fertilizer liquid can be watered. This will enable it to absorb nutrients faster, the plant will grow more vigorously, and fertilizer damage can be avoided.
