Yushu Growth Environment Conditions and Requirements

Jade tree is native to southern Africa and is commonly found in low-altitude river valleys, mountains, forests and other places. It prefers a warm, dry, sunny growing environment. The plant is not cold-resistant, afraid of strong light, and has high requirements for soil.

Yushu growth temperature

Jade plant likes a warm climate environment, and the most suitable growth temperature is 20-30℃. The plant has poor cold resistance and is afraid of freezing. When the temperature is below 7℃, the plant will be frostbitten.

Yushu growth humidity

Jade plant likes a humid environment. There is no need to deliberately control the humidity during maintenance. Generally, it is sufficient to water the plant once every 2-3 days. When the climate is dry, spray water around the plant more often to maintain air circulation.

Yushu growing soil

Jade plant is not very demanding on soil and prefers sandy soil with good drainage. If you want the jade plant to grow vigorously, you can use peat soil, leaf mold, sandy soil and vermiculite for daily maintenance.

Yushu growth cycle and process

Spring and autumn are the peak growth periods for jade plants. The growth rate of the plant is not fixed. It is mostly planted in spring. Jade plants can only bloom when they are about to grow to one meter in height and have lush branches and leaves.
