When planting orange trees, in addition to applying an appropriate amount of base fertilizer at the bottom of the pot, apply decomposed organic liquid fertilizer once every 30 days during the growing season and apply potassium dihydrogen phosphate once every 40 days.

In a low temperature and high humidity environment, orange trees are susceptible to anthracnose, which can be controlled by using fungicides such as mancozeb, myclobutanil, and carbendazim.

How to grow orange trees at home

When caring for orange trees at home, you should use loose, humus-rich sandy soil. It is best to place them in a sunny place. Do not water them too much. Just keep the soil moist. Apply nitrogen fertilizer appropriately during the seedling stage and apply thin fertilizer frequently. If diseases and pests are found, they should be treated in time.

Orange tree maintenance precautions

1. Repotting: Orange trees need to be repotted regularly during maintenance. Choose pots of appropriate size with larger mouths to facilitate fertilizing and loosening the soil. The pots should also have good air permeability and water permeability to ensure the oxygen needs of the plant's root growth.

2. Changing the soil: When changing the pot of the orange tree, pour out the original potting soil, add an appropriate amount of humus-rich sandy loam and organic fertilizer to the old soil, mix it thoroughly, pour some water, and then put the potting soil back into the pot.
