When to plant pineapples

Hainan pineapple

Guangdong pineapple

Guangdong is rich in Shenwan pineapples, most of which are planted in March and April each year. The pineapple cubes here are darker, golden in color, sweet, juicy, crisp and without any residue.

There are many varieties of pineapples, the common ones are Tainong No. 17, Tainong No. 11, Cain, Bali, Shenwan, Tainong No. 16, etc.

Cacain Pineapple

Cain pineapple can be planted all year round and will only bloom and bear fruit three years after planting. The fruit is cylindrical in shape, the flesh is light yellow in color, and has a moderate sweet and sour taste.

Bali Pineapple
