Why doesn't the longevity flower bloom?

1. Fixed flowering period

Kalanchoe has a fixed flowering period, from November of each year to May to June of the following year. It will not bloom before the flowering period.

2. The temperature is too high

Kalanchoe is a flower that likes cool weather. If the temperature is too high, it will be in a suppressed state and will not bloom.

3. Columnar Disorder

The old stump of the long-lived Kalanchoe has a rather disordered shape and is not easy to bloom, and even if it blooms, the flowers and leaves are relatively sparse.

4. Timely pruning

When growing Kalanchoe, it needs to be pruned at the turn of summer and autumn every year. The cut tender shoots should be re-grafted, and flower buds will form and bloom around the Spring Festival. Generally speaking, a Kalanchoe can only be cultivated for 1-2 years. It is not suitable to grow too large, if it is too large the flowering will be significantly reduced.
