How to grow small roses

1. Temperature

The suitable growth temperature for small roses is between 15-26℃. Its growth will be very slow if it exceeds 30℃, so appropriate shading should be carried out in summer.

2. Lighting

Small roses like places with plenty of sunlight, but they should also avoid direct sunlight. It is enough to keep them in the sun for about half a day every day.

3. Soil

Mini roses prefer loose, well-drained, water- and fertilizer-retaining soil. When planting them at home, you can use sand and a little perlite in a ratio of five to one.

4. Fertilization

Appropriate top dressing should be applied to small roses during the flowering period. The principle of top dressing is to apply small amounts of fertilizer frequently and avoid excessive fertilization.

5. Watering

When watering small roses, you should follow the principle of watering when the soil is dry and water thoroughly each time. In the summer, you can water it more when it is growing vigorously. In the winter, you can water it less when it enters a dormant state. Water it once when the soil in the pot is slightly dry.
