How to grow lucky bamboo in water

How to grow lucky bamboo in water

1. Temperature

No matter what kind of plant it is, there is a temperature that is suitable for its growth. The same is true for it. It is very cold-resistant, but the optimal growing temperature is between 20 and 28 degrees. It can also grow normally at a low temperature of 2 to 3 degrees. But keep it warm in winter to prevent frostbite.

2. It can grow not only indoors but also outdoors. Generally speaking, if you keep it indoors for a long time, you need to change the water and supplement the sunlight in time, which will help it grow. But you cannot place it under too strong light, otherwise the leaves will be burned, causing them to wither or even fall off.

3. Water Quality

When growing it with water, water quality is very important, which directly affects the growth of the plant, so when we grow it, we must make sure the water is clean. If the water is turbid, the leaves will turn yellow or even wither and fall off.

4. Fertilization

Fertilization also requires skills. If too much fertilizer is applied, the tips of the leaves will turn brown and the leaves will lose their luster. However, there should not be insufficient fertilizer, otherwise the new leaves will appear light green or light yellow due to lack of nutrients.

5. Change the water

Changing the water is also very particular, it should not be too frequent nor left alone. It is usually best to change the water once a week. If it is planted in the soil, you only need to water it once every 2 to 3 days so that it can grow normally.
