How to grow green radish in spring

How to grow green radish in spring

1. Lighting

It is a plant that does not require much light. However, spring is the most important period for its growth, and at this time we must not let it lack light, otherwise it will not only slow down its growth rate, but also make its leaves turn yellow and lifeless.

We cannot give it direct sunlight, otherwise it will cause its new leaves to be very small and the color will not be obvious, and the leaves are likely to be burned. Therefore, we can usually give it diffuse light. Generally, it is better to put it under diffuse light in the morning and evening.

2. Watering

We need to give it plenty of water in spring. Sometimes the water may evaporate too quickly, so we need to replenish it in time. Normally, you should spray some water on its leaves and add some water to its soil, but be careful not to give it too much water, otherwise it will cause its roots to rot and its leaves to wither. Once too much water is given, you must take timely measures to deal with it, such as ventilation or changing the soil.

3. Fertilization

Fertilization is also very important. In spring, we need to add flower fertilizer about every fifteen days so that it will grow faster. Flower fertilizer is also needed on the leaves so that the leaves will not lack nutrients. Of course, it is also necessary to repot it in spring, but we cannot fertilize it at will after repotting, because its roots cannot absorb it immediately, so it needs to be left empty for a while.

4. Ventilation

Ventilation also has a great impact on it. In spring, it is best to keep it outdoors because the wind speed is stronger, which is better for its growth. Generally speaking, if it stays in an unventilated place for a long time, its leaves will turn yellow and the color will be darker. It may also cause black spots to form on it.
