1. Planting method

1. Site selection and land preparation: Select land with relatively high terrain and good drainage and irrigation to prevent water from being difficult to drain away and causing waterlogging in the land; deep plowing should be carried out when preparing the land, and farmyard manure should be sprinkled as base fertilizer to ensure the fertility of the soil.

2. Sowing method: Place 3 to 5 seeds in a hole at a certain interval in the prepared field, and then cover them with soil.

3. Field management: When the melon seedlings grow to more than two meters, remove the top of the seedlings to allow them to grow more vines to increase pumpkin yields. You can choose to apply fertilizer after planting and when the vines grow to about 20 cm.

2. Planting time

Choose spring or fall when planting pumpkins. In spring, usually from January to March, the seedlings are transplanted; in autumn, usually from July to August, direct sowing is used.
