How to make a violet potted plant bloom

How to make a violet potted plant bloom

1. Suitable soil

The choice of culture soil has a great impact on the growth of the plant. The main requirements for the soil are looseness, fertility, and slightly acidic soil. Specifically, it can be prepared with leaf mold, peat soil and sandy soil, each accounting for one third.

2. Suitable light

A moderate amount of light is also helpful for the pot to bloom, but it should not be too strong. If it is kept in the dark for a long time, it will have few flowers; too strong light will not be good for the flowers either. So, diffuse light is best.

3. Suitable temperature

When the temperature is within an appropriate range, it will also help the plants to bloom. Specifically, it is better to be in the range of eighteen to twenty-four. Please note that the higher the better. When the temperature exceeds 27 degrees, the growth rate of the plant will slow down.

4. Appropriate amount of water

If you want the plant to grow quickly, you need to get an appropriate amount of water. Make sure the soil surface is moist but not waterlogged. Also, do not splash water onto the leaves and flowers, as this will harm them.

5. Appropriate amount of fertilizer

Fertilizer is very helpful for plants to grow out of the pot, but you must master the correct method. During the growth stage, use liquid fertilizer or compound fertilizer once every week to ten days. Pay attention to the balance of various elements. However, once the flower buds begin to form, you should stop using it.

6. Prevent and control pests and diseases

Diseases and insect infestations can seriously hinder the plant's success. Therefore, we must supervise immediately and provide timely treatment once discovered.
