How to take care of the newly bought cyclamen

How to take care of the newly bought cyclamen

1. How to deal with cyclamen after purchase

When you first buy a cyclamen, you need to check its overall condition. If the branches, leaves and roots are damaged during transportation, the rotten roots and leaves should be cut off immediately to prevent insect pests and diseases; if the air holes in the flowerpot are blocked, they need to be cleared with a small stick.

2. How to cultivate the newly bought cyclamen

1. Temperature: The most suitable temperature for the growth and development of cyclamen is 10-20 degrees Celsius. The newly bought cyclamen should not be placed in an environment below 5 degrees Celsius or above 30 degrees Celsius, otherwise it will easily enter a dormant state.

2. Repotting: It is best to give it a period of adaptation to the new environment and do not rush to repot. If the flowerpot is broken or too small, you can consider replacing it after 3 days. Remember to water it thoroughly after replacement.

3. Light: Cyclamen needs more sunlight, but when you just buy it, remember not to put it in direct sunlight for a long time. Otherwise, the flowers will soon wilt and fall off.
