How to speed up the rooting of jasmine cuttings

1. Suitable time

If you want jasmine cuttings to take root faster, you need to choose the right time for cuttings. It is usually best to take cuttings from May to October each year, when the temperature is relatively warm, allowing it to grow faster.

2. Suitable temperature

After cuttings, it is best to provide it with a growth environment of 20-30℃. If the temperature is too low, it will be difficult for it to take root. On the contrary, if the temperature is too high, the cuttings may rot.

3. Spray water appropriately

To speed up rooting, you need to spray water in moderation. Do not water too much at once. Generally, spray water once every three days or so. If there is continuous rainy weather, you don’t need to spray water, and take shelter from the rain.

4. Reasonable lighting

After the cuttings are completed, they should be placed where they cannot be exposed to sunlight and avoid direct sunlight. If the sunlight is too strong, it will harm the flower branches. You can use a protective cover to provide appropriate shade, and then maintain it normally after new roots grow.
