What to do if the leaves of Kalanchoe turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of Kalanchoe turn yellow

1. Water moderately

Cause: Overwatering or underwatering the Kalanchoe will cause drought, which will cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: If it is a problem of water, keep the soil in the pot slightly moist according to its needs. There should be no water accumulation and it should not be dry for a long time.

2. Reasonable lighting

Cause: Excessive light or obviously insufficient light can also cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: If the light is too strong during the summer noon, shading is required around noon. If there is insufficient light, it will cause excessive growth. It needs to be placed in a bright place to allow the leaves to return to normal.

3. Scientific fertilization

Cause: Excessive fertilization, concentrated fertilizer, raw fertilizer and severe fertilizer deficiency will cause the leaves of Kalanchoe to turn yellow.

Solution: It likes fertilizer, but is afraid of concentrated fertilizer and raw fertilizer. During the growth period, you can use slow-release fertilizers, or apply other fertilizers according to the principle of applying small amounts of fertilizer frequently to meet its needs.

4. Adjust the temperature

Reason: High temperatures above 30°C or low temperatures below 5°C will cause the leaves to turn yellow.

Solution: If it is caused by high temperature, especially in the hot and humid environment in summer, put it in a cool, ventilated and rainproof environment. The temperature in the north is low in winter, and it cannot withstand temperatures below 5°C for a long time. It needs to be placed in a warm environment to allow it to overwinter.
