How to grow the succulent plant Star Prince

How to grow the succulent plant Star Prince

1. Breeding environment

Water: Do not water the Star Prince too much, especially when there is insufficient sunlight. Reduce the amount of watering and ensure that the soil in the pot is moist, but no water accumulation occurs.

Light: Star Prince is very drought-resistant and needs sufficient light to grow. If the light is insufficient, the leaf color will fade and its ornamental value will be reduced.

Temperature: It can withstand low temperatures of 5°C. It is best to keep the temperature above 10°C in winter. If the temperature is low, it will enter a dormant period and stop growing. At this time, be sure to keep the soil in the pot dry.

Fertilization: Fertilize once every 15 days. You can apply dilute phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Do not apply too much fertilizer to avoid causing the leaf spacing to be too long, which will seriously affect the ornamental value.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Propagation by division: You can divide the plant into clumps of 3-4 branches when repotting, and then plant it directly into suitable potting soil.

2. Seed propagation: Seeding is mostly carried out in April and May. It is best to sow when the temperature is controlled at 20℃. It will germinate around midnight.

3. Propagation by cuttings: Cut off healthy branches with 4 pairs of leaves and a length of about 3-5 cm. Insert them into suitable soil and provide them with growth conditions of 18-24℃. Ensure that the soil is moist and it will take root in about 15-20 days.
