1. Seed selection and soaking

Choose a celery variety that's suited to your climate and soil conditions. Before sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for 12-24 hours to improve germination rates.

2. Prepare the Seedbed

Choose loose, fertile, well-drained soil as the seedbed. Deeply plow the land, apply well-rotted organic fertilizer , and rake the land flat and fine.

3. Planting seeds

Spread the soaked seeds evenly on the seedbed and cover them with a thin layer of soil about 0.5-1 cm thick. Then water lightly to keep the soil moist.

4. Seedling management

Weed in time after emergence to keep the seedbed clean. When the seedlings grow 2-3 true leaves, they can be thinned out, keeping the distance between seedlings 2-3 cm.

5. Planting

When the seedlings have 5-6 true leaves, they can be transplanted. Choose a plot with fertile soil and good drainage, and apply sufficient base fertilizer. Planting should be carried out with a row spacing of 15-20 cm and a plant spacing of 10-15 cm.

6. Field management

After planting, water in time to keep the soil moist. After the seedlings have grown, carry out inter-row cultivation and weeding, and apply fertilizer in time. Celery needs a lot of water during its growth period. Water it frequently, but avoid waterlogging.
