How to grow lucky bamboo

How to grow lucky bamboo

1. Breeding environment

1. Soil: To grow lucky bamboo, you need to use loose, well-drained soil. It is best not to use sticky, alkaline soil.

2. Watering: It is best to water in the morning or evening, especially in summer. It is best not to water at noon, as it may be burned due to high temperature. When the weather is dry, increase the air humidity to ensure that the soil is moist.

3. Temperature: You need to provide it with a growing environment of 20-28℃. When the temperature is lower, you can keep it indoors. It can withstand low temperatures of 3℃, but being in a low temperature environment for a long time will affect its growth. Especially in the cold winter, you need to adjust the temperature in time.

2. Breeding Methods

Cutting propagation: Cut the top branches of about 15-20 cm, insert them into the soil after processing, water them appropriately every day to ensure that the soil is moist. It will take about 30-35 days to take root in spring, and about 35-45 days in autumn and winter.

3. Common diseases

Common diseases include anthracnose, stem rot and leaf spot. Once discovered, the diseased leaves and branches should be burned promptly, the soil should be disinfected, and some pesticides should be sprayed appropriately for prevention and control. Proper ventilation should be ensured during routine maintenance.
