The sowing and cutting method invented by a flower growing expert can germinate and root in minutes

★ 1. Use plastic bottles to propagate succulents★

The propagation method of succulents is so fascinating that a small leaf can grow into a new plant. Every time I go to the flower market, I pick up the fallen leaves I see. If I see my friends have a new variety, I must get a leaf. However, it is not certain whether you can do the job after returning home. The following little method can make your succulent leaves take root and sprout quickly:

Prepare materials: succulent leaves, plastic bottles, scissors, water

1. Choose healthy, pest-free, and strong succulent leaves, pick them off, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry for two days.

2. Use scissors to poke a few holes in the plastic bottle, the size of which is just enough to fit the tops of the succulent leaves. Then poke another hole in the bottom of the bottle to add water to the bottle. The operation is as follows

3. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the bottom of the plastic bottle. Be careful not to add more water than the water-adding hole at the bottom of the bottle. Then insert the leaves upwards into the small hole of the plastic bottle. Place the plastic bottle in a well-ventilated place with scattered light. Be careful not to expose it to the sun. Add water when the water at the bottom is gone. If the leaves feel shriveled, you can spray water on them. The operation is shown in the following figure:

4. The moisture at the bottom of the plastic bottle can promote the rooting and germination of the leaves and will not be infected by the bacteria in the soil. Soon, small plants will grow on the leaves. At this time, you can take them out and place them in the soil for cultivation.

★ 2. Use sponge to propagate grass and flowers★

The sponge itself has a strong ability to absorb water and can fix plants very well. When plants are rooting through cuttings, they do not need too much nutrients in the early stages, so using an absorbent sponge instead of soil can reduce the risk of bacterial infection in the cuttings or rot of the cuttings due to improper operation.

Storage materials: absorbent sponge, cuttings, water, seedling box, cutting knife

1. Prepare the seedling box, then cut the sponge slightly smaller than the seedling box, and use a knife to divide the sponge into even pieces of about 3cm*3cm in size. Note that you don't need to cut the bottom so that the sponge can be laid flat in the seedling box without falling over.

2. Insert the prepared cuttings into the prepared sponge and pour in an appropriate amount of water. The amount of water added must be enough to soak the entire sponge.

3. Cover the seedling box with the lid, and then place the seedling box in a bright place. The cuttings will take root in one to two weeks. During this time, make sure the sponge remains moist.

4. When we see thriving roots in the sponge, we can take out the sponge and plant it directly in a flowerpot. The sponge will gradually decompose over time.

★3. Use sand to graft woody plants★

Many flower lovers will buy vermiculite and perlite when taking cuttings. In fact, it is also possible to use only sand. However, the sand must be coarse. Sand that is too fine will easily stagnate with water and cause the cuttings to rot.

Prepare materials: healthy cuttings, coarse sand, flower pots, water

1. Take healthy cuttings and remove the lower leaves.

2. Wash the sand clean, put it in a pot, then insert the cuttings into the sand and water them thoroughly.

3. Place the potted cuttings in a cool and ventilated place, keep the substrate moist, and they will soon take root and sprout.

★ 4. Router germination ★

Planting melons and getting beans around Qingming Festival, but now it is still a while before Qingming Festival, and the temperature has not yet warmed up. What should I do if I want to plant? In fact, there are many warm places at home, and the router is a good place...

1. Soak the seeds you want to germinate in warm water for a while in advance. Determine the soaking time based on the hardness of the seed shell. The harder and thicker the shell, the longer the soaking time.

2. Find two wet paper towels, sprinkle the soaked seeds on one wet paper towel, and cover it with the other one.

3. Put the seeds and wet paper towels in a plastic box or plastic bag, cover it tightly and tie it up!

5. Put the plastic bag on the router. The router keeps heating up, which is suitable for germination and seedling cultivation. If you see the water in the box or bag is running dry, turn on the spray to keep it moist.

6. After the seeds germinate, just plant them according to the normal sowing process. Some seeds will germinate in less than a day, while others will take longer.

★ 5. Electric blanket, set-top box...germination★

The computer host, set-top box, and electric blanket are the same as the above steps, so I won’t say much, just put a few pictures to prove it!

On the host computer:

On the set-top box

Place on electric blanket

How about it, do you want to try it now?

Pollen, what other tips do you have?
