How to grow roots quickly in hydroponic ivy

How to grow roots quickly in hydroponic ivy

1. Selection of branches

1. The selection of branches is a very important matter. Only by choosing the right branches can the roots grow better. The branches you choose must have aerial roots, so that after ten days they will grow aquatic roots.

2. The best way is not to cut the branches first. Put a pot or vase next to it. If there are aerial roots, you can put the branches with them in and take them out after they grow roots.

3. In addition, there are requirements for the variety you choose, and the all-green ones are easier to survive.

2. Water requirements

1. At the beginning of hydroponics, you must change the water frequently, about once every one or two days, so as to ensure the cleanliness of the water and prevent the branches from rotting. Also, do not put too much water in it, and leave some roots in the air.

2. Every once in a while, we need to spray it with water to increase the humidity in the room, and then wash the leaves. In midsummer, it is dormant, so we have to feed it with clean water, because using other water will easily cause its roots to rot and will not be good for its growth.

3. Requirements for light

1. At the beginning, you cannot give it too much light. If you keep it in complete darkness for the first one or two days, its roots will grow very fast and will grow out in less than ten days.

2. After that, we can give it scattered light. Remember not to give it strong light, because it itself does not like strong light. This is a great trick for quick root growth, you can try it.

4. Root Washing

When taking it out of the soil, wash its roots clean. You need to be careful at this time and must not break its roots, otherwise it will have a bad effect on its subsequent hydroponics. And when washing the roots, be careful not to wash away its root hairs. And when it grows roots, you cannot easily change it to soil cultivation. It would be better to wait until it grows very strong before changing it.
