Saving the Money Tree

The money tree is easy to grow, but some people always water it too much, causing the roots of the tree to rot and the leaves to turn yellow. In the end, the tree is thrown away, leaving only a bare trunk. Let’s see how my best friend’s father brought it back to life after he picked it up!

1. Cut off rotten roots

Watch for root rot. Get a pair of sharp scissors and cut off any thin, rotten roots. If there is a large area of rot at the roots, use a saw to cut off the entire root system to expose the fresh trunk.

2. Soak in carbendazim solution

Put the root-pruned tree trunk into the carbendazim solution, soak for 30 minutes, then take it out and put it in a ventilated and cool place to dry.

3. Soak in rooting water

You can buy rooting agents, or you can dissolve white sugar in 10 times the amount of clean water, then put the roots of the money tree in, soak for 40 minutes, then take out and dry.

4. Prepare loose and breathable soil

The soil can be a mixture of leaf mold, river sand, garden soil, and pine needle soil. This will increase the soil's permeability and air permeability and prevent root rot again.

5. Plant a money tree

First, put broken bricks or expanded clay at the bottom of the pot, then cover it with a layer of soil, put the roots of the money tree into the soil, fill the pot with soil, and then water it thoroughly.

6. 15-30 days to take root

Place the money tree in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. After the soil is dry, water the soil once to promote rooting. After about 15-30 days, new roots and new leaves will grow, and the fortune water will be revived!

Saving the Pothos

Even if a whole pot of green radish has yellow leaves and is wilting, there is still a chance to save it. Hurry and take it home to try the following method!

1. Cutting baldness with one knife

Find a pair of scissors, wipe them with alcohol first, then cut off all the yellow and wilted branches and leaves, leaving only 1-2 nodes at the bottom to allow new leaves to grow.

2. Place in bright light

Place the bald-headed green radish in a ventilated and cool place with sufficient light, but avoid direct sunlight. Spray water around the pot every day.

3. New leaves will grow in 8-15 days

Generally, new leaves will grow within 15 days, and they will be green and full of vitality. Water the plant when the soil is dry, and just water until the water flows out of the drainage holes.

4. Apply fertilizer in time to make the green radish bloom like crazy

Water the green radish with some fermented rice water or fruit peel fertilizer every half a month, so that the green radish can grow faster and its leaves will become big and shiny.

Saving Asparagus fern

Some people think that asparagus fern is dead when they see that its branches and leaves have all turned yellow, and they throw it directly into the trash can. In fact, there is still a chance to save its life!

1. Prune the roots

After picking up asparagus fern and bringing it home, first clean the soil from the roots. If there are rotten roots, cut them off, apply some carbendazim dry powder on the wounds, and then put them in a ventilated place to dry.

2. Pruning branches

Cut off the yellow branches of asparagus fern, but don't cut them all off at once. Cut them from the branches 5 cm above the surface of the pot. This will be conducive to the growth of new branches.

3. Plant in a pot

The soil can be a mixture of pine needles, river sand, peat soil, etc. After planting the asparagus fern, water it thoroughly and place it on the north balcony indoors to ensure good ventilation.

4. Spray water frequently

Asparagus fern requires higher air humidity to grow. Spraying water around the asparagus fern every day can make new branches and leaves grow faster. Don’t water too much. You can add some vitamin C tablets when watering to make the roots grow stronger and the leaves greener!

5. After 2 months, the leaves are lush and green.

Water the asparagus fern with fish tank water or add some rotted chicken manure every month to make it grow fast and well, with lush green leaves. Don’t mention the sense of accomplishment you’ll feel after reviving it!

Saving the coin grass

Inexperienced flower lovers, when they see the yellow leaves of the pennywort drooping and looking like it is about to die, simply throw it into the trash. What a pity! Huahua hopes that all discarded pennyworts can be picked up by kind-hearted people and brought home to revive!

1. Keep the root system of the copper coin grass healthy

First clean the soil around the roots and pick out the pennyworts with healthy roots.

2. Cut off the leaves

Cut off the yellow leaves of the pennywort. The stem does not need to be kept too long, about 2 cm above the root.

3. Half soil and half water, plant in a pot

Find a flowerpot without drainage holes, put river sand into the pot, then plant the pennywort, pour clean water into the pot, and finally let the water level be higher than the soil level.

4. Tender leaves will grow in 3-7 days

Place the pennywort in a sunny place and keep the water level higher than the soil level. In about 3-7 days, new green leaves will grow.

5. 15 days of blooming

In order to make the pennywort grow faster, you can pour some compound fertilizer water into the pot. Within half a month, the pennywort will fill the pot!
