Cut the snake plant into 8 pieces, and the white roots will pop out!

The Sansevieria in some flower lovers’ homes were frozen to death after the Chinese New Year. At this time, we can cut off the leaves and directly use them for cuttings, and soon we will have several pots of new Sansevieria!

How to propagate Sansevieria by cuttings?

1. Find a sterilized knife and cut off all the leaves of the snake plant from the mother plant.

2. If the cut leaves of the Sansevieria are too long, you can use a knife to cut them into small pieces of about 5-7 cm, and then place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wounds.

3. Prepare the soil needed for cuttings, and make sure the soil is loose and breathable. You can use peat soil and perlite in a ratio of 2:1 to make nutrient soil.

4. Insert the dried Sansevieria leaves directly into the soil. The part of the leaves inserted into the soil should be about 1/3-1/2 of the leaves.

5. After cutting, place the snake plant leaves and flower pots in a cool and ventilated place, and keep the soil in the pot slightly moist. If the temperature at home is high, the cuttings of the Sansevieria leaves will take root in about 20-30 days.

6. When you find that the leaves of the snake plant have taken root, you can directly transplant them into a flowerpot. After transplanting, place it in a cool place for 1 week to allow the roots to grow slowly, and then place it in a bright place indoors for continued maintenance. If you want the snake plant to grow vigorously, you can also bury a few grains of compound fertilizer in the flowerpot.

Note: Whether it is the Golden Edged Tiger Skin Orchid, the Silver Edged Tiger Skin Orchid, or even other varieties of Tiger Skin Orchid, as long as it has patterns, the patterns will disappear after the leaves are cut. Flower lovers must pay attention when cutting!

Cut the green radish into 8 pieces and it will sprout in 5 days!

As the temperature warms up in spring, the growth of the green ivy will become faster. If you don’t want the green ivy to become messy, you can choose to prune it, cut the pruned branches short, and directly plant them through cuttings!

How to propagate Pothos by cuttings?

1. If you want the cuttings of the green radish to take root quickly, it is best to choose those sturdy branches and ensure that the branches have aerial roots, so that the survival rate can be greatly increased.

2. Use a sterilized knife to cut the branches of the green radish into small sections, each section is about 3-5 cm long, soak them in a carbendazim solution for 20 minutes, then take them out and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wounds.

3. Prepare the nutrient soil needed for the cuttings of green radish. As long as it is loose and breathable nutrient soil, you can mix peat soil and perlite in a ratio of 1:1. You can also add some vermiculite or sand to improve the water permeability and air permeability.

4. Place the green radish branches flat on the soil, water them thoroughly once, and then place them in a cool and ventilated place. Always keep the soil moist. If you see that the soil in the pot is a little dry, you can use a spray bottle to spray some water on the branches and the surface of the soil in the pot.

5. If the temperature at home is always above 15℃, it will only take about 20 days for the cuttings of the green radish to take root and grow a leaf.

6. It only takes about 1-2 months for the leaves of the green radish to cover the entire flowerpot, making it look lush and green, and especially pleasing to the eye!

Note: If the branches of the green radish are laid horizontally, after the roots are inserted into the soil, the leaves that grow will basically fill the pot, but they will not droop or climb the wall; if the branches are inserted vertically into the soil, the soil must cover the nodes, so that the green radish will climb the wall or droop after filling the pot.

Cut the Kalanchoe into 8 sections and harvest 100 pots in 2 months!

Every time I visit a friend’s house, I am particularly excited when I see the different varieties of Kalanchoe. But I feel embarrassed to let my friend part with it, so I can only pick a branch and bring it back, and then directly use it to propagate a new pot!

How to propagate Kalanchoe by cuttings?

1. Place the Kalanchoe branches you got from your friend's house in a cool, ventilated place for more than 8 hours.

2. Cut the branches into small sections, retaining aerial roots on each section, so that it is easier for them to sprout and take root. Then soak the branches in a solution of carbendazim for 4 hours, take them out and place them in a cool place to dry.

3. Don't throw away the leaves you broke off from the branches. Place them in a cool and ventilated place for half an hour. After the wounds are dry, you can also do leaf cuttings.

4. Prepare the soil needed for cuttings. You can use peat soil and perlite in a ratio of 9:1. Peat soil is conducive to the rooting of branches, while perlite plays a role in water permeability and air permeability.

5. Insert the dried Kalanchoe branches into the soil. It is best to ensure that the humidity is above 80%. If you are worried about insufficient humidity, you can also put a sealed box on the seedling box of the Kalanchoe branches.

6. It only takes about one month for the cuttings of Kalanchoe to grow roots.

7. After rooting, transplant the Kalanchoe branches directly into the flowerpot, place them in a cool place for 1 week to allow the roots to grow, then move them to a brightly lit place indoors for maintenance. You can spray some compound fertilizer on the leaves, and the Kalanchoe leaves will soon be green and bright!

8. If you want the Kalanchoe to bloom as soon as possible, you can spray some 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves before it blooms. This will make the Kalanchoe flowers grow bigger and more!

Cut the Chlorophytum comosum into 8 sections and it will fill the pot in one month!

Huahua has a pot of Chlorophytum comosum at home. She just stuck a branch into the soil, and it grew more and more. Finally, the whole yard was filled with it. Later, her mother picked the branches and made cold dishes with them. They tasted really good!

How to propagate Chlorophytum comosum by cuttings?

1. Pinch off the strong branches from the mother plant of Chlorophytum comosum, then cut them into small sections of about 3-5 cm with a knife, and then place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wounds.

2. Chlorophytum comosum is very easy to grow. Even without preparing special nutrient soil, it can take root quickly.

3. Insert the dried wounds of the Chlorophytum branches into the soil, water them thoroughly once, and place them in a cool and ventilated place. There is no need to water the peony until it has taken root.

4. It only takes about 15-20 days for the cuttings of Chlorophytum comosum to take root and survive, and the leaves will slowly grow.

5. For the Chlorophytum that has taken root and grown new leaves, you can repot it in a larger pot, add nutrient soil, and let it continue to grow. If you want the Chlorophytum comosum to bloom quickly, you can control the water content and spray 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution to promote flowering.

That’s all for today’s introduction to Huahua.
