How to plant the seeds of Sedum sedum

How to plant the seeds of Sedum sedum

1. Preparation

1. Choose a planting method: Conventional planting methods include seed sowing and cuttings. Generally speaking, we use seed sowing as the main sowing method.

2. Choose the planting season: We usually choose mid-May. Because the most suitable temperature for sowing Sedum truncatum is around 22 degrees Celsius, if we can avoid the rainy season, the survival rate of Sedum truncatum seeds will be increased.

3. Land preparation: Even though Sedum multiflorum is not demanding on the soil environment, we still need to level the land before sowing. Before planting, we should first remove the weeds on the surface and the bricks in the soil, then water it thoroughly, and finally level the soil.

4. Seed picking: We select several plants of Sedum multiflorum and pick the seeds of Sedum multiflorum carefully and slowly. After collecting, we still need to place the seeds in a cool place for two days, waiting to be planted.

2. Operation steps

1. Interval sowing: As the seedlings of Sedum truncatum grow, its young shoots become more and more, and the overall size of the Sedum truncatum also increases accordingly.

2. Add soil: Put the prepared substrate into the tray, the height of which should be about three centimeters lower than that of the pot.

3. Sowing: We wait for the soil where we plant Sedum truncatum to be penetrated by water, and then we can spread the seeds of Sedum truncatum evenly on the surface of the soil.

4. Cover with soil: Cover with sifted fine soil. The thickness of the fine soil should be such that the seeds can be vaguely seen.

4. Insulation: We can make a circular arch with soft branches, cover it with plastic film, and tie it tightly around the arch.

3. Post-maintenance

1. Watering: After sowing, we must spray water mist in time.

2. Remove the net: When the Sedum multiflorum seeds grow young roots, we can remove the shade net and keep the soil dry.

3. Pruning: In the spring of the second year, we need to cut off the dead branches at the top of the ground.

4. Changing beds: When the sown Sedum rubra seedlings grow to five centimeters, we can choose to change the bed of the Sedum rubra and transplant it into the greenhouse.

5. Division: In order to increase the nutrition per unit area of Sedum truncatum, we can divide Sedum truncatum once every three years, which is beneficial to the growth of Sedum truncatum.

IV. Precautions

1. Light: Sedum sedum likes strong light, so it needs sufficient light.

2. Temperature: The temperature at which Sedum truncatum grows at night is 16 degrees Celsius, and the temperature during the day is 22 degrees Celsius.

3. Weeding: We must loosen the soil and weed in time.
