Maintenance methods and precautions of succulent cloth ball

Maintenance methods and precautions of succulent cloth ball

1. Lighting

This succulent plant generally prefers sunlight, but is also afraid of overexposure, so it can enjoy a whole day of sunshine in spring, autumn and winter. However, when the temperature is high in summer, it is necessary to block the sun to a certain extent and maintain a relatively good ventilation environment so that it can grow better. So lighting is also very important.

2. Temperature

It is not cold-resistant and prefers mild places, so in winter we must keep the soil in the pot dry and maintain the temperature above 5 degrees. If the temperature is too low, they will get frostbite and sometimes even die. But the temperature cannot be too high, because it is also afraid of exposure to the sun, so it still needs to be cooled appropriately. The temperature must not be too high.

3. Moisture

It is the same as other succulents and is relatively drought-resistant, so when watering it, we must wait until it is completely dry before watering it. If it is not dry, do not water it. When it is growing, usually wait until it is completely dry before watering it, but remember not to water it with your head. When watering in spring, it depends on the situation. You have to water it slowly and make sure to water it according to the weather. So watering is very important to it and you can't water it randomly.

4. Soil

The succulent ball does not have particularly high requirements for soil. Generally, the cultivation soil still requires plain sandy soil with good drainage. Then mix in a little peat. The proportion is optional, but it must be breathable. Generally, succulents prefer soil with good drainage and ventilation, so you must also pay attention when choosing the culture soil to make sure it meets its requirements for the soil. Otherwise it will not be good for its growth.
