The flowers of white jasmine grow between the leaf axils, while the flowers of white magnolia generally grow at the tips of branches.

Different flowering periods

Magnolia is also known as the Spring Flower in the folks. Magnolia blooms in spring and only once a year, while jasmine can bloom twice a year, in summer and autumn. It blooms more in summer and less in autumn.

Different tree shapes
