How to cultivate Isuzu jade in color

Plant characteristics

First, understand its preferences. First of all, it likes warmth and sunlight very much, and the temperature suitable for its growth is approximately between 15 and 30 degrees. In addition, it likes sunlight very much, so it is very important to pay attention to this factor. Another point is that it does not require much water and is quite drought-resistant.

Specific approach

Light: As we mentioned above, this is one of the extremely important factors that causes it to change color. Generally speaking, it is more appropriate to place plants on a south-facing balcony during the period from autumn to the following spring, because they can be guaranteed three to four hours of direct sunlight every day, and there can be a long period of diffuse light for the rest of the time. In this way, the sunlight is not too strong and will not burn the leaves. It can also make the leaves more compact and most importantly, make its color more beautiful. However, it is different in summer. At this time, the plants should be placed in the east or north to maintain good ventilation and avoid high temperature and humidity that may cause the plants to rot. If the plants are outdoors, be careful not to get them wet in heavy rain.

Temperature: We mentioned its suitable temperature earlier. If the temperature is too high or too low, the plant may go dormant and grow very slowly, not to mention changing color. Therefore, although the temperature in summer and winter is difficult to control within this range, it should not be too high or too low.

Water and fertilizer: Generally speaking, we should combine fertilization with watering, dissolve the compound fertilizer (preferably granular) in water, or mix liquid fertilizer into water. Five or six times a year is enough, but be careful to keep the concentration as low as possible.
