How to water Magnolia

How to water Magnolia

Characteristics of plants

It likes to live in a relatively humid environment, but it must have a certain drainage function and cannot live in a place with stagnant water for a long time. Otherwise, if the roots of the plant are soaked in water for a long time, its root system may rot. Therefore, this puts certain requirements on our watering.

Specific steps

What is said below refers to general circumstances. The specific treatment methods need to be slightly adjusted according to the actual conditions in different regions.

In spring, if it rains a lot in your area, you can place it outdoors to receive natural rain and dew, which can replace artificial watering. However, it should be noted that if the rain is too heavy or lasts for a long time, the plants should be moved away.

From the beginning of summer to late autumn, you can water the plants once a day. Of course, during the hottest summer months, you can water it once more per day.

Let me just briefly mention winter. After all, we all know that in the cold winter, plants generally do not need much water, after all, they don’t consume much water for growth. If you see that the soil in the pot is too dry and cracked, you can water it appropriately.

Precautions

We should pay attention to the choice of watering time. No matter what season it is, it is best to choose the two time periods of early morning and late evening to water. Especially in summer, it is absolutely not suitable to water at noon, remember this.

In order to make the leaves of the plants look cleaner and to increase the humidity, we can regularly spray some water on the leaves to make them look bright and beautiful while also replenishing some moisture.
