How to fertilize dahlias

1. When applying fertilizer, you should not only focus on the amount of nitrogen. If you ignore this issue, the dahlia may only have leaves but no flowers.

2. Be careful when applying fertilizer. Stop top dressing during the high temperature season (when the temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius in summer), and resume top dressing normally in autumn when the temperature drops.

3. Dahlias have a good ability to absorb fertilizers, but because of this, topdressing should not be excessive so that its stems and leaves can grow just right. Although sufficient fertilizer must be supplied, otherwise the dahlias will bloom smaller, the color will not be rich, and they will not be so beautiful. Secondly, decide whether to apply top dressing based on its growth conditions. It is best to apply some thin fertilizer.

4. Generally, apply liquid fertilizer with lower concentration for a while in the first half a month or so when the seedlings are young. Once every 7-10 days after flower buds appear.
