Jasmine is growing too tall - beheading and pruning

When autumn comes, it is almost time for jasmine to bloom the next batch of flowers. However, if you are not careful enough in terms of light or too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied, it is easy for its branches to begin to grow too long, resulting in no flowering. At this time, it is necessary to prune it.

1. Prune off all the overgrown branches of jasmine to avoid unnecessary nutrient consumption and allow it to have more nutrients for flowering.

2. After pruning, place the jasmine in a cool and ventilated place for a while, and then place it in direct sunlight. Make sure the soil in the pot is moist and apply some fertilizer regularly. You will soon find new buds growing on the jasmine after shaving and pruning.

Succulent plants grow too tall - pulling leaves and turning into old piles

After the summer, 80% of the succulents either died or became as emaciated as dogs, which was simply a disgrace to the eyes. In fact, Huahua thinks that it is not scary at all if succulent plants grow too tall. They can just turn into old stumps!

Steps:

1. When you find that the succulents in your home are growing too tall, if you want them to become old stumps, just ignore them and let their branches grow particularly long.

2. When the branches of the succulent plant grow to the height you like, remove all the leaves at the bottom, leaving only the leaves at the top. The picked leaves can also be placed in flowerpots for leaf cuttings, and they will become new succulents!

3. Place the succulents with a few leaves left on the top under the sun. Those leggy stems will age quickly, and in about a year, they will form old succulent stumps.

Margaret's haircut

If the small grass flowers at home, such as petunias and marigolds, grow too tall, their branches will become crisscrossed and very ugly. At this time, you have to prune them so that they can bloom again!

1. If the marigold at home has grown too tall and its flowers have become ugly, then you can just shave it, starting from about 3-5cm above the soil, and cut off all the tall growth on the upper part.

2. After shaving, Margaret should not be placed in direct sunlight. It can be placed in a cool and ventilated place to receive scattered light, such as a brightly lit room or north balcony.

3. Water the plant when you find the soil in the pot is dry. In order to prevent the plants from dying after shaving, the branches cut off from shaving can be used for cuttings to increase the survival rate.

4. In about 1 month, the Margaret will grow back after shaving its head!

Oxalis is growing too long - put up a support

Oxalis is a flower that easily grows out of the pot. If you don't pay attention to it, it will turn into a thin and long big thing, which is so ugly that it's enough to make you cry!

Steps:

1. If you find that the Oxalis is growing too tall, you can build a support for it and let the long branches grow along the support. The material you need to prepare is a bundle of aluminum wire.

2. Bend the aluminum wire into a circle as shown in the picture.

3. After bending, insert the aluminum wire into the flowerpot, and then wrap the long branches around the aluminum wire.

4. In this way, the overgrown branches will grow along the direction of the aluminum wire, and then many side buds will burst out from the overgrown branches. When the Oxalis grows out of the pot, the aluminum wire will be completely covered. How about it, isn’t this method clever?
