Fertilization method for Begonia

Fertilization method for Begonia

Fertilizer selection

If you want the flowers to grow better, choosing the right fertilizer is crucial. For crabapple flowers, it is best to choose compound fertilizer. This kind of fertilizer contains a large amount of organic matter, which can make the leaf color of crabapple flowers darker, the flowering period longer, and the ornamental value more! It is best to choose phosphorus fertilizer during the crabapple flowering period, which can make the flowers bloom more beautifully!

Fertilization method

The fertilizer for crabapple should not be too concentrated, it is better to apply thin fertilizer. Three to four times a month will be enough. When fertilizing, watering should be combined. This can not only dilute the fertilizer, but also accelerate the decomposition of the fertilizer, making it easier for the crabapple flowers to absorb it.

In spring, especially from April to May, crabapple flowers are in full bloom. At this time, applying more phosphorus fertilizer will help the flowers bloom better and replenish nutrients.

Gradually reduce or stop fertilizing during summer and winter. The temperature is low in winter, and the physiological activities of crabapple flowers basically stop. If fertilizer is applied at this time, it will cause damage to the plant itself. Therefore, fertilization needs to be stopped.

In autumn, the demand for fertilizer by crabapples increases, so sufficient fertilizer needs to be applied at this time. On the one hand, it can enhance the resistance of flowers and trees to low temperatures, and on the other hand, it can replenish lost nutrients to make the flowers and trees healthier.

Precautions

The leaves of crabapple are relatively sensitive to fertilizer. Be careful when fertilizing, so as not to drip fertilizer onto the leaves and flowers, which may burn them.
