How to grow African jasmine in winter

How to grow African jasmine in winter

Winter plant care mainly starts from the following four points:

1. Watering

In winter, the soil should be kept slightly moist. Observe the soil before watering. If the soil shows signs of being dry, you can water it. Do not allow water to accumulate when watering, as this will affect the health of the plants. When the indoor temperature is too dry in winter, you can also spray water on the plants. When watering, try to water at noon, and avoid watering too much at a single time or in the morning or evening.

2. Ventilation

For plants that overwinter indoors in winter, ventilation is of paramount importance, especially in the north where the temperature indoors is higher but ventilation is poor. Although the plants can still survive, it will affect their growth the following year. If it is not possible to grow in a ventilated environment all day, you can choose warm weather, open the windows and doors, and ventilate the room, allowing the plants to breathe. You can also loosen the soil appropriately to allow the roots to breathe.

3. Fertilization

This fertilization does not mean applying it in winter, but applying it before winter, so that the plants can survive the winter more safely.

4. Lighting

In winter, try to place the plants in a place where they can get sunlight. If you can't get sunlight all day, at least spend 2 hours or more in the sun.

Precautions

Winter is cold. The biggest problem for flowers and plants to survive the winter is temperature, so you must ensure the temperature, otherwise no matter how well you take care of them, it will be useless.
