How to fertilize Gloxinia? Fertilizing like this will help the plants grow better!

How to fertilize Gloxinia

You can make your own soil with base fertilizer: 3 parts leaf mold, 1 part river sand, 1 part perlite and a small amount of finely crushed, dried, and decomposed poultry manure mixed together to make the best soil for growing Gloxinia.

Fertilizer can be applied every 10 days after Gloxinia sprouts, with potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen as the main fertilizers;

From the early stage of leaf growth to the early stage of flowering, fertilization is required once a week, with thin, well-rotted organic liquid fertilizer as the main fertilizer;

After the gloxinia forms flower buds, it is necessary to increase fertilization, and the increased fertilizer should mainly be phosphorus fertilizer;

When it is time to fertilize Gloxinia, if the soil is relatively moist, you should fertilize it two days later, and then fertilize it when the soil is relatively dry.

Things to note when fertilizing Gloxinia

When applying liquid fertilizer, be careful not to splash the fertilizer on the leaves of plants. After each fertilization, be sure to spray the entire plant thoroughly with clean water to prevent the fertilizer from accidentally damaging the leaves. However, when spraying, be careful not to let the water droplets remain on the surface of the leaves for a long time, otherwise it will cause the leaves to wither, turn yellow and rot. You can dilute it with cotton pads, cotton swabs or cotton and linen cloth.
