Custard Apple Tree Planting Method

Custard Apple Tree Planting Method

Planting method

Sugar apple generally grows in an environment with warm climate and relatively humid air, so it is generally planted in the south where the climate is more suitable. Choose soil with good ventilation and water permeability, and then select the quality of the seeds. Complete and healthy sugar apple seeds can be resistant to cold, while some can only grow in tropical areas. Select the whole seeds, subject them to a series of treatments, and then plant them in the previously selected soil. The seeds do not need to be buried too deep. Water the seeds appropriately during the growth period, and after a long wait, the seeds will sprout.

Planting conditions

After the seeds grow into plants, pruning them can not only make the fruit trees grow stronger, but also increase their beauty and make the fruits larger. If sugar apples are planted in the southern region, the height of the trunk must be controlled to prevent typhoons from hitting the southern coastal areas in summer and causing unnecessary damage to the fruit trees. In areas with heavy rain in summer, you can use the method of mounding up the soil when planting, which effectively prevents water accumulation at the roots.

time

Custard apples are usually planted around March every spring. The rising temperature is conducive to the growth of spiders. In areas with lower temperatures, thermal insulation film can be used for insulation treatment, or they can be cultivated in a greenhouse depending on the planting quantity.

Custard apples will bear delicious fruits in autumn. You can pick and taste the delicious fruits and share the joy of the harvest in this season.
