Diseases and their control of Xanthoceras sorbifolia

There are two main diseases of Xanthoceras sorbifolia: chlorosis, sooty mold and damping-off.

Yellowing disease

When signs of chlorosis are found on the plants, they must be dealt with in a timely manner and seedling management must be continuously strengthened. In addition, it is important to eradicate the diseased plants, and on this basis, loosen the soil and weed, and dry the soil if necessary.

Damping-off

When plants are found to have damping-off disease, timely treatment is required. You can choose to use thiophanate-methyl wettable powder, methyl toluene emulsifiable concentrate, or jinggangmycin aqueous solution for spraying treatment.

Soil pollution

Sooty mold disease occurs on many plants. The treatment method is to choose thiophanate-methyl and spray it two or three times in a row, once a week, and the condition should improve after that. At the same time, we should strengthen seedling management and deal with weeds in a timely manner.
