I'll just tell you these tips for growing flowers.

Cooling and shading

1 plus sunshade net

The temperature in summer basically exceeds 30℃, while the suitable growth temperature for many flowers is around 20℃. If no cooling measures are taken for the flowers, they may easily die from the sun. If it is grown on an open-air balcony or in the courtyard, it is best to add a sunshade net. If it is on an indoor balcony, you can add a blackout curtain when it is hot at noon.

2. Use air conditioning or fan

The temperature continues to rise at noon in summer. In order to avoid damage to the flowers, you can move the flowers indoors and use air conditioning or fans to cool them down.

3. Foliar spray

In addition to the above two methods, the most commonly used method is to spray water on the leaves to lower the temperature. When using this method, you must be careful to make sure the water sprayed from the spray bottle is in the form of mist. If it is in the form of water droplets, it will easily remain on the leaves and burn them.

Watering

1. Water in the morning and evening

The temperature is high at noon in summer. If you choose to water at noon, on the one hand, it will cause the transpiration of the leaves to increase and water to be lost faster. On the other hand, if water accidentally gets on the leaves, it can easily burn the leaves.

2. Do not use freshly drawn water.

In the hot summer weather, the temperature of the soil surface will rise. At this time, if you use water just taken from the pipe to water the flowers, it is easy to cause the temperature of the potting soil to drop suddenly, which will stimulate the root system. In addition to not absorbing water, it may also cause the flowers to stop growing. Therefore, before watering, it is best to let the water dry for a while, so that the water temperature is similar to the room temperature before watering.

3. Water flowers with many leaves more often

Many flowers with many leaves, such as some large green plants, have very large evaporation. In order to meet normal growth needs, we have to water them more in summer, about 1/3 more than usual.

Ventilation

1. Increase the humidity of the air

The temperature is high in summer, and many flower lovers like to put their flowers in air-conditioned rooms. However, air-conditioned rooms are relatively dry, and many flowers placed indoors cannot reach a high air humidity, which can easily cause yellow leaves and dry tips. In order to increase the humidity of the air, it is best to turn on a humidifier indoors, place a basin of water in the room, or wipe the leaves of the flowers frequently with a wet cloth.

2. Move outdoors in the morning and evening

Placing flowers indoors with air conditioning or a fan can lower the temperature of the flowers, but at the same time, if the windows are closed for a long time and the indoor air is not circulated, it is easy for the flowers to get black rot. Therefore, you should open the windows frequently for ventilation, and move the flowers to the balcony when the temperature drops in the morning and evening.

3. Don’t blow directly at the air conditioner.

The wind from the air conditioner is relatively dry. If you keep the flowers where they can be directly blown by the air conditioner in order to lower the temperature, it will easily cause the leaves of the flowers to wilt and turn yellow, or even become burnt.
