1. What is

Millet is a plant belonging to the Poaceae family. It is an annual herb. After the fruit is peeled, it is commonly known as millet.

2. Leaves

The leaves are linear-lanceolate or long-lanceolate, about 10 to 45 cm long and 5 to 33 mm wide. The tip of the leaves is sharp and the base of the leaves is obtuse. The top one is rough, the bottom one is slightly smoother.

3. Fruit

The ears of grain are about 20 to 30 cm long, with spikelets clustered on long stalks. The spikelets are covered with prickles, and each ear will produce hundreds or thousands of grains. When the ears of grain are mature, they will be golden yellow, with oval seeds. The grains are very small, about 0.1 mm in diameter, and most of them are yellow.

4. Growth Environment

It likes a high temperature environment, and the suitable temperature for its growth and development is between 22 and 30℃. It is a cold-resistant and stable-yield crop.
