How to plant cyclamen seeds

Sowing time

The sowing season of cyclamen is not very demanding and it can be sown all year round, but attention should be paid to the temperature during sowing. It is best to keep it between 15 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius.

Sowing steps

Place soil in the flowerpot for sowing, poke a few small holes in the soil, about one to two centimeters, put the cyclamen seeds in and cover them lightly with soil. After planting, cover the flowerpot with a layer of plastic film to maintain the humidity and temperature for the growth of cyclamen, and then cover it with a layer of shade net to block the light. When growing cyclamen, pay attention to maintaining the humidity of the soil, not too dry or too wet.

Post-sowing work

It takes about a month for cyclamen to germinate. After germination, it must be gradually exposed to sunlight, otherwise the plant will grow too tall. About three months after sowing, cyclamen will grow true leaves. In the fifth month, you can change the pot.

The methods mentioned above all refer to natural sowing, and cyclamen seeds can also be germinated.

Soak the cyclamen seeds at 25 degrees Celsius for about 24 hours to achieve the germination effect.

Cover the seeds with two layers of paper towels and seal them tightly. The germination effect can be achieved in about 24 hours.
