1 Willow branch extract

Principle: Willow branches contain a large amount of salicylic acid, which can promote plant rooting. In addition, the willow branch extract can inhibit the growth of bacteria and prevent the cuttings from rotting due to bacterial infection.
Method: 1. Cut willow branches. Cut the newly sprouted willow branches. Such willow branches are highly active and should not be infected with diseases, pests or insects. To facilitate soaking, it can be cut into about ten centimeters. 2. Soak the branches: Use a hammer or other tools to break the branches, and then soak them in water.

When cutting, soak the prepared cuttings in willow rooting agent for about 12 hours (herbaceous flowers only need 2 to 3 hours), and then cut them into vermiculite (or other cutting media such as perlite), and they will take root in five or six days. You can also wait until the cuttings grow white roots in the extract before grafting, which will have better results.

2Potassium permanganate solution

Principle: The main role of potassium permanganate solution in cuttings is actually disinfection, providing clean branches and clean soil for cuttings, avoiding contamination of the cuttings, thereby increasing the rooting rate and success rate of cuttings.
Method: 1. First prepare 0.1%~0.5% potassium permanganate solution. 2. Then soak the part of the cuttings that will be inserted into the soil in potassium permanganate solution for 10 to 12 hours. 3. After taking out, dry in the shade, and then proceed with the cuttings as usual.

3. Vitamin B12

Principle: Vitamin B12 contains many trace elements needed for plant growth. Therefore, soaking in vitamin B12 solution does help promote rooting.
Method: 1. Dilute the vitamin B12 injection with 1 times of cold boiled water (make sure the water is cold~). 2. Soak the part of the cuttings inserted into the soil in the diluted solution for 5 minutes. 3. Take out the branches and dry them in the shade before cutting them. This not only promotes the growth of the root system of the cuttings, but also promotes the healing of the tissues.

4 rice vinegar

Principle: Studies have shown that in addition to 1-5% acetic acid with a pungent smell, rice vinegar also contains many nutrients needed for plant growth and can promote plant rooting.
Method: 1. Mix rice vinegar and cold boiled water in a ratio of 1:100. The higher the quality of the rice vinegar, the better. 2. Soak the cuttings of grapes and other vines to be used for cuttings in the solution for about 10 minutes. 3. Then take out the cuttings, dry them in the shade and then proceed to cuttings.

5. Aspirin solution

Principle: Aspirin solution contains salicylic acid, which is a powerful tool for promoting plant rooting. Therefore, aspirin solution is very effective in promoting rooting.
Method: 1. Grind aspirin into powder and dilute it with water at a ratio of 1:1000. ★ Dissolve 0.01g of aspirin in 100ml of water to make 0.01% aspirin solution. 2. Soaking the branches for cuttings for about half an hour can significantly increase the germination rate.

6 Rooting powder solution

Method: 1. Prepare ABT rooting powder according to the ratio of rooting powder: water = 200~500 mg: 1 kg. 2. Soak the part of the cuttings inserted into the soil in the solution for 30 seconds before cutting.
Now that the weather is hot, hurry up and use these methods to start taking cuttings!
